Red Dye (single bottle)

Red Dye : reds FD&C 40 and/or 3 for testing the Black Berkey Filter elements only.
The test only works with this artificial red dye, and the filters are designed to remove this out.  

-add 5-10drops of dye to upper chamber and fill up full.
-if any dye is seen in the filtered water
-check if there is any leakage, if there is, tighten or readjust.
-if the dye is flowing through the filter outlet, then the filter is defective or exhausted.
